フィリピン視察

ご縁があり「大分県フィリピン友好協会」の会長を務める吉武ロドラさんと友人になりました。

先月の5月に京都で世界大会を終えてロドラさんとフィリピンへ渡り
ました。

フィリピンでの視察では

若い世代のフィリピン人の
方々が日本で働くために
『日本語』と『実践的な専門技術』を真剣に学ぶ姿勢を視察し
感動しまして涙が出そうになりました。

かつて
約330年間は
フィリピンはスペインの植民地でした。

この長い支配により
アジアで文化や歴史的背景を持つ
ことになり
スペイン風の街並みやフィリピン人のスペイン系姓などが現在も
色濃く残っています。

写真の
『Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant』では、スペイン植民地時代の趣を残す内装に囲まれながら、スペインとフィリピンが融合した料理を楽しみました。

世界の歴史や文化を学ぶことは
わたし達の視野を広げ
多様な価値観と現代の姿が
より深く理解できる
ようになります。

これからも世界の旅を
続けていき学んでいきたいと
おもいます。

 

［菲律宾考察］

因缘际会，我与担任大分县菲律宾友好协会的会长吉武小姐成为了朋友”。

上个月、在京都结束世界大会后，我与吉武小姐一同前往了菲律宾。
在菲律宾的考察中，我收获很大

我看到年轻一代的菲律宾人，为了能前往日本工作。
他们学习日语及相关实操性专业技能的认真态度，让我深受感动，几乎热泪盈眶。

在过去的大约330年时间里，菲律宾曾是西班牙的殖民地。

这段长期的被统治历程，使菲律宾在亚洲拥有了独特的文化和历史背景，如：具有西班牙风格的街道，以及菲律宾人中很多人拥有西班牙式姓氏等，这些浓厚的文化都被保留着。

照片中所看到的是一家名为”Barbara’ Heritage Restaurant”的餐厅，它的装修保留了西班牙殖民时代的风情，我们就是在这样一个很具特色的餐厅里享用了一次融合西班牙与菲律宾特
色的美食。

了解世界各国的历史和文化，能够拓宽我们的视野，让我们更深刻地理解当今的时代变化，体会不同的世界观和价值观。

今后，我也希望继续踏上世界之旅，不断学习。

 

「A Visit to the Philippines」

I had the pleasure of becoming friends with Ms. Lodora Yoshitake, who serves as the president of the Oita Prefecture-Philippines Friendship Association.

After wrapping up a global conference in Kyoto last May, I traveled to the Philippines with Ms. Lodora.

During our visit,I was deeply moved—to the point of tears—witnessing the serious dedication of young Filipinos as they studied the Japanese language and practical technical skills in preparation for working in Japan.

The Philippines was once a Spanish colony for approximately 330 years.

This long period of rule shaped the country’s culture and history within Asia, leaving a lasting legacy seen in Spanish-style streetscapes and the Spanish surnames still common among Filipinos today.

At “Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant” (pictured here), I enjoyed a fusion of Spanish and Filipino cuisine while surrounded by an interior that retains the charm of the Spanish colonial era.

Learning about world history and culture broadens our horizons and allows us to gain a deeper understanding of diverse values ​​and the realities of the modern world.

I look forward to continuing my travels around the globe and deepening my learning along the way.
