「第２回田中たけし英語塾開催」

７月１９日(日)  田中たけし英語塾を開催しました。
昨年担任をしていた生徒も来てくれて真剣に勉強に取り組んでくれました。
また、英語とは別に進路相談に来た生徒もいて、相談に乗りました。相談を
聞いていて実感したことは「こんなにゆっくり一人の生徒に向き合って話し合いをしたことがなかった」こと。悩みを解決するため「個に応じた教育」の重要性を再認識したこと。新潟市の教育を改善するためには給食費の無償という一面的なことだけでなく、もっと「幅広く新潟市の生徒たちに支援する方策を示す」べきだということを実感しました。
このようなことを踏まえて来月からも積極的に「高い」「志」をもつ生徒たち、その子供様を見守る親御様たちを支援していきます。

“Second Takeshi Tanaka English Seminar was held”

On Sunday, July 19, I held the Takeshi Tanaka English Seminar. Students I had taught as their homeroom teacher last year also attended and applied themselves earnestly to their studies. I also spoke with students who came seeking guidance on their future paths—separate from the English lessons. Through these conversations, I realized that I had never before had the opportunity to sit down and engage with a single student so thoroughly and unhurriedly. It reaffirmed for me the importance of “education tailored to the individual” in resolving the challenges students face. I also came to feel strongly that, to improve education in Niigata City, we must go beyond one-dimensional measures like making school lunches free; instead, we need to present a broader range of support strategies for the city’s students.
With this in mind, I will continue to actively support students who possess high aspirations, as well as the parents who watch over them, in the coming months.
