新しい年度も始まり、新しい生活をされている方もいらっしゃるかと思いますが、皆様いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
前回のブログでは私がコンテストに出場したきっかけをお話ししましたが、
その後のコンテストライフについてお話しします。
実は、初めて出場したコンテストでは精一杯やり切ったので、次また出場は考えていませんでした。
このコンテストで賞をくださったスポンサー様に一年ほど説得され、心が動き、2020年にエントリーを決意しました。
自分なりにインターネットで調べて決めた某コンテストにエントリー。
タイミングが悪く新型コロナウイルスが始まり、延期が続いて気持ちが晴れず…
そんな時、初めて出場したコンテストのウォーキングの先生から連絡があり、
「また出場しませんか？」 と連絡を頂きました。
色々と悩みましたが、気持ちを切り替えて古巣のコンテストに出ることにしたのです。
ちょうど4年前の4月のことでした。
コロナ禍のため、 zoomを使いコンテスト対策のカウンセリングを受けながら準備を進めました。
そしてものすごくひっそりではありますが、その2ヶ月後に日本大会に出場✨

新しくスタートを切るには4月は最適です。

A new fiscal year has begun, and some of you may be starting a new life. How is everyone doing?
In my last blog, I talked about what prompted me to enter a contest, but I’d like to talk about my contest life after that.
To be honest, I gave it my all in the first contest I entered, so I wasn’t thinking about entering again.
The sponsor who gave me the prize in this contest persuaded me for about a year, and I was moved and decided to enter in 2020.
I entered a certain contest that I had researched on the Internet and decided to enter.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic began, and the contests were postponed one after another, so I was feeling depressed…
At that time, I received a call from the walking teacher of the first contest I entered, who asked me if I would like to enter again.
I was worried about a lot of things, but I changed my mind and decided to enter the contest of my old home.
That was exactly four years ago in April.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I used Zoom to receive counseling on how to prepare for the contest and proceeded with my preparations.
And then, very quietly, two months later I participated in the Japan competition.
I’ve posted a photo of me when I was a rookie and a contest beginner.
April is the perfect month to make a new start.
If you’re unsure about anything, please change your mindset and try something new.
