スピードが求められる時代と美の基準

今年は60年に一度の「丙午（ひのえうま）の年」。
動きが速く、エネルギーの強い一年と言われています。
新しい流れが次々と生まれ、判断や行動のスピードが
求められる場面も増えていくことと思います。

けれど、

美しさは速さで決まるものではありません。
むしろその逆で、所作や佇まいほど、急いだ瞬間に失われてしまいます。
動きが早くなると、姿勢や視線、手の扱いにまで、
その人が普段どんな意識で動いているかがそのまま表れてしまうからです。

日本の所作や美意識の基準は、
余計な動きを加えず、姿勢を整え、動きを揃えることにあります。
特別な演出をしなくても、それだけで自然と品が生まれます。

年齢や立場を重ねるほど、美は「何を足すか」ではなく、引き算で整えられていきます。
