佇まいと品格に宿る、美の本質

皆さま、こんにちは😊

 

毎年秋から冬にかけては、慌ただしくもあり、とても楽しみな季節。

なぜならこの時期は、世界中で数多くのコンテスト世界大会が

開催されるからです。

そのため、私が関わったビューティーキャンプの出場者をはじめ、

各国で大舞台に挑む方々の姿を応援しながら拝見しているのですが、

同時に、私自身にとっても多くの学びを得る機会でもあります。

舞台でのドレススタイルはもちろん、日常のファッションや見せ方に

至るまで、コンテスタントたちから得られる気づきは尽きません。

 

コンテストの世界大会を見ていて改めて思うのは、

美しさは外見の若さや華やかさだけで決まるものではない

ということ。

人の印象を決めるのは、姿勢といった佇まい、

そして表情や所作ににじみ出る品格だなと。

思い知らされます。

「優雅さは決して色あせない」

その人が持つ佇まいや品格は、年齢に左右されることなく、

言語を越えて人々の心に深く残ります。

 

先月、アメリカで開催された

MS. WORLD INTERNATIONAL World Championshipにおいて、

美智子校長が「Woman of Beauty」部門でグランプリに輝かれ

ました。

美智子校長のその外見に宿る美しさと、

品のある佇まいが一つとなったその調和された美しさが、

世界を魅了したことを証明しています。

 

世界共通の美しさとは、

品と佇まいが示す一貫性のある美しさ

なのではないでしょうか？

Hello, Everyone.

The period from autumn to winter is a busy, but very exciting time of year.

That’s because numerous beauty pageants and international competitions are held around the world during this time.

As a result, I watch and cheer on the contestants, including the contestants from the beauty camp I was involved in, as they take on the big stage in various countries.

But it’s also an opportunity for me to learn a lot.

I learn so much from the contestants, from their on-stage dress styles to their everyday fashion and presentation.

Watching the international beauty pageants reminds me that beauty isn’t determined solely by youthful or glamorous appearances.

It’s posture, like posture, and the dignity exuded in facial expressions and behavior that determine the impression a person leaves.

Audrey Hepburn once said,

“Elegance never fades.”

“The Essence of Beauty Residing in Appearance and Dignity.”

A person’s appearance and dignity remain deeply in people’s hearts, regardless of age, transcending language.

Last month, at the MS. WORLD INTERNATIONAL World Championship held in the United States, Principal Michiko won the Grand Prize in the “Woman of Beauty” category.

Principal Michiko’s harmonious beauty, combining her natural beauty with her elegant presence, has captivated the world.

Isn’t universal beauty a consistent beauty that combines both elegance and appearance?
